荷風初霽 · Lotus Wind After Rain

A summer lotus pond has just come through rain. Wet leaves hold their beads, a dragonfly touches the water, a returning boat disappears into the willows, and one sheng line rises by the bridge as if answering the birds after the storm.

Today’s theme is nature & seasons, round 7. The lead color is sheng, supported by guqin, light pipa, distant dizi, and a restrained female vocal in literary Chinese.
